Our standard queen room was marvellous with a sofa bed, a window overlooking a rear dining area plus balcony as advertised. Exceptional service was provided here. The hotel has particularly good and incredible location short walk to the tourist spots and the restaurant. Plus, we stayed within a close distance from a late Renaissance church...

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The location was fantastic, providing easy access to various attractions. I found Giancarlo in the cafeteria to be an really good server. The vibrant decor in the room and throughout the hotel gave it a charming atmosphere, which I appreciated, much like a previous guest mentioned enjoying the spacious Junior King Suite with its vibrant decor. The ambiance was good.

The staff were 'so-so' - the service offered was quite variable. It was quite frustrating dealing with some of the front desk team rather frustrating.

Just an optimal selection for a city escape in Rome with very nice value for money. The super nice team and friendly throughout my stay, making everything easy. Be sure to enjoy light snacks and wine on the rooftop bar if it's open.

The venue was in a central location just off Navona, trastevere, Vatican and several areas and several types of accommodation in Rome. The breakfast was sumptuous and good with Prosecco, fresh honey and also cheese, and the facilities were excellent.

Experienced travelers always expect hotels to have certain amenities; comfort, quiet or convenient location, clean and well attended, dining area and easily excessible transportation. What sets them apart is staff and service. I travel more than 60,000 U.S. air miles every year + international. This Hotel has perhaps the best staff I have ever encountered. From the reception, to dining, maid, doorman...all were without exception the best. For that reason alone, I would certainly return to the St George.

The location is perfect for sightseeing, but the room was a bit too hot for comfort. Still, a fantastic stay overall 🌟

Close to sights and transport links, plenty of resturants and shops nearby. Mostly clean and the staff were very helpful. The view of the Rialto Bridge from our room was just what we were looking for. ( see below we had 3 nights not 2)
We had a Canal View room, but it was on the 4th floor and the lift stopped at the 2nd. The hotel is long passed a major renovation, It needs to be brought from the 1930s to at least the 1990s. The Bar was not under Hotel management so we could not charge drinks to the room, but had to pay cash each time which was inconvenient.
